We, Catholics, strongly believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. It is, therefore, our responsibility as Christians to express this awesome reality in the way we worship and behave in the Mass.

The Eucharistic Ministers play a huge role in keeping the sacred reverence that is due at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. They come as they are, but Jesus calls them constantly to come closer in communion at the Table of His holy and loving Sacrifice. Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest presider in giving out communion, either with the Body or the Blood of Christ. 

Everyone who is Baptized, Confirmed and received his/her First Eucharist can be called to administer the Holy Eucharist. 

Here at Presentation, Eucharistic Ministers serve on Holy Days, Sundays and weekday Masses. Training sessions are held for all ministers and are offered throughout the year. Eucharistic Ministers are called to visit and administer the Body of Christ to those who are homebound and those who are sick in the hospital.
