“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure for grief is to grieve.” – E. Grollman
The Bereavement Ministry offers support to anyone who has recently experienced the loss of a loved one and holds support group sessions during the year.
“It’s beyond amazing that a group of people who have known each other for a scant 9 hours or so on Zoom gathered together like old friends; not awkward at all. Thank you for facilitating and for providing materials that reassured us that our thoughts and expressions of sadness are ok and shared by many others experiencing the loss of a spouse.” ~Summer 2020 participant
All Soul’s Mass
On November 2, as a community united in faith, we offer a special liturgy in remembrance of the souls of our parishioners who have died during this past church year. We invite you to check the parish bulletin in early October for details on how to participate in having your loved one remembered at that Mass.
